Changes and a new look on my project!

I have found it hard recently to understand clearly what i am doing. To start with i was adimant that i was goig to produce two pages of a newspaper which was traditially local for the norwich area and included general news.

After my questionnaire and research into the market of local newspapers aimed at educated adults, i found that there is a gap in the market which i really want to fill. Local newspapers havent made any drastic changes over the time as they want to stick to their roots and what they are known for, which is why they arent as successful as national newspapers.

As i am creating a new newspaper, i want it to be modern and up to date, something which will interest the educated audience of TODAY. People always want to investigate something new.

Nowadays newspaper arent the only way to get the news, we now have computers with internet, phones, and podcasts etc, so i have to incorporate modern society in my newspaper in order to get these audienes who are happy to get updated the news via technology. I found from my questionnaire that adults read the paper, therefore i have to cater to that but with a modern twist.

Im still planning to aim my newspaper at educated adults as i believe from the research i did that they would be interested in art, media, music and culture etc.

Here is a map i did on the subjects which could interest educated adults if i were to include articles ad information about them:
