Rihanna's website.

Analysing the website, it is very pink with Rihanna's photo the main focus. There are different pages you can look at including; news, video, images, music, personal sign in, live and shop. These selections can make the visitors to the website very involved and entertained.

On the shop tab where you can buy merchandise of hers, there are some very interesting items which are worth talking about. On item i found quite disturbing was a pair of 'booty shorts'. Another item was a hoody.

Also note that at the bottom of the shop page there is a chance to see a video of hers - crossing the audiences - making people who want to shop see the video also.

Would parents really want their children to wear these? The are cheap and available - attractive to young children.

My friend had a t-shirt on the other day with Rihanna's face on it. This is advertising her as a face to me - somebody who saw the t-shirt. This could also be described as the Two-Step Flow. As i have seen the t-shirt, i instantly took a photograph to my blog because i have some interest in her (because i am writing this blog). I took the photo of the t-shirt on my phone, and it is still on there:

Twitter

There are also links to Rihanna's Twitter. Her being on Twitter widens her audience even more. Not only can her fans read or watch her, they can virtually follow her. It also gives the audience a chance to get up-to-date, more reliable information directly from Rihanna herself.

There aren't only links to her Twitter on her website, there are also links to her facebook, MySpace and YouTube. This makes sure her audience know everything that is happening with the star. They feel connected and informed.
